Khalid Olajide Adekoya is a Professor of Genetics in the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics, Faculty of Science, University of Lagos, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. Cell Biology and Genetics, University of Lagos, 2009. He has attended training in his area of research at the Biotechnology, Nuclear, Agricultural Research Institute (BNARI) in Accra, Ghana, Forensic DNA Laboratory, University of Western Cape, Cape Town South Africa and Emory University, USA – Nigerian Institute of Medical Research (NIMR) Nigeria HIV training programme among others. His area of research includes but not limited to Genetics, Cytogenetics, Genotoxicology, Molecular Genetics, Conservation and Forensics.

He has been involved as a leader or member of teams in grants and fellowships in various areas from diverse fields of Genetics, Conservation Biology, Agriculture, Food security, Medicals and Forensic biology. He has won grants from Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria on Yellowing Diseases of Coconut Palms in Nigeria as well as on Germplasm Conservation of Culturable shell and fin fishes in the Nigerian Coastal Waters. He has grants from TETFUND, LASRIC and University of Lagos on COVID, Cancer and other areas of human interest.

He served as Chairman, Board, Federal Science and Technical College, Ijebu-Imusin (2018 -2022). He was a SubDean, School of Postgraduate Studies, UNILAG (2015 – 2017) and currently the Director, School of Foundation Studies (UNILAG). He is a Fellow of Institute of Security, Nigeria and a member of many professional academic societies and associations locally and internationally. He consults for examination bodies such as WAEC, NECO and JUPEB. He consulted for the World bank-STEP-B project on ICT tools for teaching 2010 to 2014. In the area of forensics and security, he has consulted for the Institute of Security in Nigeria and the International Academy of Forensics, Nigeria and the USA.

Professor K.O. Adekoya is currently a member of the National Executive Council of the University of Lagos Alumni as national ex-officio and the National President of the UNILAG Muslim Alumni Association (UMA). Prof. Adekoya was the pioneer President of the National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS), UNlLAG chapter (1992). He pioneered as President of Ijebu Descendants Association, UNILAG chapter in 1991. He is a member of the board of the Ijebu Imusin Muslim Community. His interests and hobbies include reading, football and travelling. He is married and blessed children.

Sola Ismail is a professional accountant whose journey is defined by an unyielding commitment to excellence, innovation and social responsibility. Sola’s professional journey is established on robust academic foundation, a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom.

Her professional career started at KPMG Professional Services (formerly Arthur Andersen) in 1997. Here, she honed her skills and expertise, setting the stage for her impactful roles in the corporate realm. Joining Nigerian Breweries Plc in 2011, Sola demonstrated her financial and leadership acumen as she drove the operational and strategic goals of the company within the Tax and Treasury function. In 2020, she changed gears assuming pivotal role of Revenue and Margin Growth Manager at Nigerian Breweries Plc before moving on as Project Consultant at Heineken where she drove the embedding of the company’s strategy in multiple companies across Africa.

Sola’s professional pursuits seamlessly merge with her passion for social change. As the founder of The Twenty-One Foundation, she established an organisation guided by professionalism and compassion. The Foundation under her strategic stewardship has become a beacon of hope offering financial assistance and fostering a community where everyone is embraced with empathy and understanding. Sola is a steadfast advocate for a better and more inclusive world.

Ogunnaike Ogundeko is a graduate of Civil Engineering, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. In 1989, he joined Michelin Nigeria Ltd. as an industrial engineer. He left Michelin after 16yrs, as the Plant manager of the Port-Harcourt factory.

In 2007, he graduated from the Lagos Business School of the Pan Atlantic University with an MBA. Ogunnaike then broadened his scope by wading into the Oil and Gas industry, in the capacity of Operations Manager for “Centrilift” and “Production Quest” (Baker Hughes), 2 product lines offered to the Oil companies for secondary recovery of crude oil using Electrical Submersible pumps and down hole monitoring systems.

In 2012, he joined the Schlumberger group where he was responsible for the logistics and warehousing of all spares and equipment within the Sub-Saharan African region.

Most recently Ogunnaike has received the prestigious certification as a Black Belt Lean Six Sigma practitioner.

Since Sept 2020, Ogunnaike has been working on various projects within the Telecommunications, Mining and Oil & Gas industries in Nigeria and neighbouring African countries as an Operations Management consultant. Ogunnaike is fluent in English and French.

Akinyinka Kalejaiye was born on the 26th October, 1964, Akinyinka Kalejaiye attended Maryland Convent Private School, Maryland Lagos for his elementary and primary education. He proceeded to Lagos Baptist Academy, Obanikoro Lagos from 1976 – 1981. In 1982, he enrolled at the Lagos State College of Education, Ijanikin, Lagos where he obtained the National Certificate of Education in Economics and Geography in 1985.

In 1986, he enrolled at the Lagos State University Ojo, Lagos where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in law in 1990. He subsequently enrolled at the Nigeria Law School, Lagos and was called to the Bar in the years 1991 and did his one year mandatory national youth service corp at the legal Unit, University of Ibadan.

In 1992, he joined the law firm of Dayo Adeyeye and Co. and rose to become the Head of Chambers.
In the year, 2000, he formed together with his partner, the law firm of Imam, Kalejaiye and Co where he is a principal partner.

Akinyinka Kalejaiye is a commercial lawyer that specializes in start ups and also an entrepreneur. He is a Director of Amena Academy limited, David and Stone limited, Waste Concept. He was pivotal to the signing of the bilateral agreement between Nigeria and Republic of Serbia on defence cooperation. He has authored two books, namely; “Ilesanmi”, a biography of the leading lights of the Onabegun Family of Ijebu – Imusin and “A Comparative History of Ijebu- Imusin”.

Femi Oyèwọlé

Olufemi Oyewole is a proud alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, with a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Geography (1895), Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, in 1990 and the degrees of M.Sc. Transport studies and MBA (General Management) from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Oguns State, in 1996 and 2001 respectively.

He has had over thirty years’ experience in public and private universities administration. He joined the service of Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye n(formerly Ogun State University) in 1991 as an Administrative Officer and served in various administrative positions rising to the position of a Deputy Registrar in 2005. He was appointed Registrar and Secretary to Council, Olabisi Onabanjo University in March 2010.
He served as Consultant, University Administration / Head of Registry ay the West African Union University, Cotonou, Benin Republic from 2015 – 2017 and Ag. Registrar, Atiba University, Oyo town between March 2018 and Sept. 2019.

He is a Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), International Member, Association of University Administrators (AUA), Member, Association of Nigerian Professional Administrators (ANUPA) and Member, Association of Registrars of Nigeria Universities (ARNU).

He is currently the Registrar & Secretary to Council, Mountain Top University, Prayer City, Ogun State, since September 2019.

ABDULWAHEED ODUOLA ODUSILE is a seasoned Journalist, Media Executive, Unionist and Politician. With over 40 years’ experience in the media cutting across both Print and Broadcast, Odusile, a graduate of Mass Communication from The Polytechnic, Ibadan.

He began his Journalism career in 1984 at the then Television Service of Oyo state (T.S.O.S), now, part of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS). After cutting his teeth in broadcasting as a
cub reporter, he crossed over to print Journalism, moving to the defunct Concord Press of Nigeria (CPN) as a reporter with the National Concord Newspaper, the flagship publication of the
CPN. He quickly established himself as a resourceful and versatile reporter, especially in the Aviation Beat, where he became one of
the pioneers of modern Aviation Press/reporting in Nigeria/Africa, as different from the typical airport correspondent/reporter. As Airport/Aviation correspondent, he travelled extensively across
Nigeria, Africa and other parts of the world covering/reporting (on) aviation related events, attending training programmes, interviewing Chief Executive Officers of Airlines etc.

At Concord Press, he was at various times, acting Foreign Affairs Editor (National Concord) Group Foreign Affairs Editor (Concord Press) Deputy Editor, (Sunday Concord) and Assistant Editor
(National Concord). He later took his expertise to Leaders and Company, Publishers of THISDAY Titles, where he served, at different times as News Editor, (The Sunday Title) Group News Editor, Group Foreign Affairs Editor, before pitching his tent with The Sun Newspaper as Assistant Editor. He became a title Editor at the National Life Newspaper (now rested) where he served as the pioneer Editor of the Saturday Newspaper, and later the Managing Editor. After the merger of National Life Newspaper with The Nation Newspaper, he moved over to The Nation as Managing Editor from where he was elected as National President, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in 2015.

His career as a unionist, which culminated in his election as NUJ President in 2015, did not start at the top. He began in 1985 as secretary of NUJ, Concord chapel, two terms; Vice Chairman NUJ,
Lagos council, two terms; National Ex-Officio Member, twice, and finally, the National President. Few month after becoming the President of NUJ, Odusile was elected President, Federation of
African Journalists (FAJ) and later member of the executive of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ).

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, politics came calling, and Odusile was appointed the Honourable Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Ogun State, by His Excellency, Prince,
Dr, Dapo Abiodun, MFR, CON, the Governor of the Gateway State, Ogun, on October 5, 2020.
As a technocrat in government, Odusile served meritoriously as a member of Governor Dapo Abiodun’s first cabinet, (between May 2019 and May 2023) and distinguished himself as a thoroughbred professional journalist, communication expert and an emerging
political leader/politician of note.

A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from ward 2, Ijebu Imusin, in Ijebu East Local Government Area, Odusile was one of two commissioners from Ijebu East in the cabinet and the first indigene of Ijebu Imusin to be made a commissioner in Ogun Sate. He played his part, creditably, as a community leader/politician, in the development of Ikala (his father’s birth
place) and Esure (his mother’s birth place) both in Ijebu Imusin especially in the provision of infrastructure like Solar Electricity (Street Light), Transformer, and Road construction/rehabilitation as
well as youth empowerment across Ijebu East local government area. Married, and blessed with children, Odusile is the Chief Executive
Officer of KAFTAN Media Group (KMG) owners of KAFTAN TV and KAFTAN Radio, and counts Sports, reading and mentoring/motivational speaking as part of his hobbies.

Olaniyun R. Aderonke hails from Okepo quarter of Ijebu Imusin, Oga Agba’s compound, Ogun State. Her young adult and adult life has been filled with the vibrancy and beauty of the Ijebu settlement and its people. She graduated from former Ogun State University (OSU) now known as Olabisi Onabanjo University  (OOU) with a B.A (Hons) in English in the year 1993. 

She worked briefly with The Punch Newspaper, then as a teacher with the then Ilupeju College,  Obanikoro between the years of 2000 and 2004 after which she decided to settle down to her self-employed business. 

Having a passion for community growth and a drive to make an impact in the sustainability scene, She has taken the opportunity to be actively involved in various community platforms and alumni  organizations, holding leadership positions to serve the people and by so doing better the society.

Mr. Dayo Ogunmowo is the founder and pioneer Managing Director of SEO & Associates; He resigned as an Executive Director from Nigerian Ropes PLC, in December 2014 to run SEO & Associates as Founder/Managing Director. Prior to becoming an Executive Director and a member of the Board of Directors of Nigerian Ropes PLC, Mr. Ogunmowo was the General Manager responsible for Business Development, a position he held for 16 months only after successfully turning around the Sales & Marketing Division which brought back the business to live in terms of revenue generation and increased market share.

He has in-depth experience in Business Turnaround, Change Management, Procurement & Supply, Supply Change Management, and Sales & Marketing and has built a vast network of business and personal relationships across many sectors of the Nigerian economy.

A graduate of Business Administration with specialization in marketing from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Mr. Ogunmowo; an experienced banker before joining Nigerian Ropes Plc in March, 2010.

Olabade Badejo

Born into the Badejo Alausa Family, Olabade hails from the distinguished lineage of Oba Ogunilu, former Oloko of Ijebu Imusin. His grandfather, Omoba Badejo Ogunilu Alausa, served as Olori Omoba of Ijebu Imusin until his passing. Olabade’s father, Otunba Adebisi Badejo, was a respected member of the Ijebu Imusin Planning Body (IPB), serving as its secretary for many years, and also secretary to the Oba in Council for two Olokos, including the current Kabiyesi during the early years of his reign.

Olabade Badejo is an alumnus of Ijebu Ode Grammar School and a member of the 1988/93 JOGSOBA Set. He graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University with a degree in Urban & Regional Planning. He has undergone several training programs in Leadership, Management, Sales, Strategy and Risk management. He is also an Alumnus of the Lagos Business School and ‘The Honda Global Leadership Program – Exploration’ (GLP-E).

Olabade began his professional journey with Honda Manufacturing Nigeria Ltd (HMN) as a Sales Officer in 2005. After contributing to the Okada Project team for over two years, he briefly worked in the construction industry before rejoining HMN in March 2008.

Over his combined 18-years career in the 2-Wheels (Motorcycle) industry, he has held various key positions within the Sales Department, including Corporate Sales, Dealer Development (as Sectional Head), and Motorcycle Sales (as Dept Manager). Currently, he serves as the General Manager and Head of the Sales & Customer Service Division.
His leadership has driven significant growth, with notable achievements in year-on-year sales volume, the introduction of new motorcycle models, and the expansion of the Sales (Retail) Network across Honda’s product lines in Nigeria.

He now co-leads HMN’s Steering Board with the Japanese President, setting operational strategies, targets and managing the associated risks of doing business in Nigeria for the company.

He also represents Honda on the Board of Motorcycle Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN), the lobbying group for motorcycles assemblers within the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) automotive sector.

Olabade is happily married with three children and cherishes family life, enjoying his free time with his wife and children in Ile-Ife.
